(River)
(Source)
(Mouth)
(River Basin)
(Drainage Basin)
(Watershed/Water Divide)

A.4 नील नदी (Nile)
Nile → Mediterranean Sea; Nile Delta → Egypt

Current Linkage: Due to climate change, drought, irrigation, population pressure and water management, the Lake Chad Basin is an extremely important environmental region.
Trap: Lake Chad's area always remains constant ❌
A.24.20 Aral Sea
Location: Central Asia; Mainly: Kazakhstan + Uzbekistan
Formerly: One of the world's large inland lakes.
Major Rivers: Amu Darya, Syr Darya
Major Problem: Due to large-scale diversion of river water for irrigation, its size decreased drastically.
RPSC Linkage: Aral Sea → irrigation diversion → shrinkage → environmental disaster
A.24.21 Dead Sea
Location: Jordan and Israel/West Bank region
Feature: It is one of the most saline major inland water bodies on Earth.
River: The Jordan River brings water into it.
Drainage: No natural external outlet.
Most Important: It is located far below sea level.
Trap: Dead Sea → open sea ❌; it is an enclosed/inland water body.
A.24.22 Lake Titicaca
Location: Peru + Bolivia; Continent: South America
Feature: One of the world's famous high-altitude navigable lakes.
Altitude approx: 3,812 m
Water: Mainly fresh.
RPSC Trap: Titicaca → Africa ❌; Titicaca → Peru–Bolivia → South America ✅
